Individual Recovery from Addiction Programme

After working full time in the drug and alcohol rehab field for the past I8 years I have recently reduced my hours working in residential rehab to focus on other areas of my professional work. I have previously worked  for the NHS  for several years and now a large focus of my work is on developing my private practice.

Since then I have designed and develop this fantastic Individual Recovery from Addiction Program that can be tailored to suit all substance misuse and addiction needs.

This could be just the help that you or your loved one needs right now; someone to offer a full package of care and support with specialized advice, counselling and possibly long term psychotherapy to help you break your unhelpful patterns of addiction.

My extensive experience and qualifications allows me to offer an individually designed programme with specialized support to enable you to move forward from the distressing and chaotic place you find yourself in right now and start to live a fuller and better life with an understanding of the issues that underpinned your addiction and tools to enable you to remain abstinent.

Some of the services available:-

• Initial specialized addiction assessment to determine severity of issue.
• Production of an individual care plan that best supports the client’s needs.
• Harm minimalisation or abstinent focused programs available.
• Advice on the best type of counselling to suits therapeutic needs
• Clear guidance and advise on the level of intervention that client will need and estimated timescale of programme to  fulfill  the desired outcome.
• Assistance with referral to an appropriate detox unit if necessary.
• Liaising with client and family members (where appropriate and pre-agreed) to produce a targeted weekly plan/schedule of recovery.
• Regular counselling, psychotherapy or EMDR sessions (usually 1 or 2 per week) with highly qualified and experienced BACP accredited Counsellor & Supervisor.
• Weekly recovery support and planning sessions with Senior Recovery Worker.
• Access to specialized EMDR & trauma therapist for treatment of PTSD.
• Support and advice regarding eating disorders with specially designed eating  plans from qualified Eating Disorder Practitioner/Mental Health Worker.
• Couples counselling and Family interventions where needed.
• Weekly or fortnightly Relapse Prevention education support sessions.

Each element of the plan is priced individually so potential clients can choose the level of intervention that suits both their therapeutic needs and finances available.

An average individual recovery plan would normally cost between £100 and £200 per week, which is extremely competitive when you consider residential addiction rehabilitation normally costs in excess of £600 per week.
